Ruth Poyner, Cathedral spokesperson said: "We are very pleased to be working with Marc and his team at InFX on this important project. In a similar vein, developing our retail and commercial activities generates much needed revenue that enables us to keep admission to the Cathedral completely free of charge." "This has been in the planning for over a year now, and it's good to see Chichester Cathedral and its partners looking at an online solution like this, that will give many more members of public, in Chichester and further afield, a chance to see what's on, at the same allowing them to book their tickets from the comfort of their own homes. Also, past visitors to Chichester Cathedral will be able to visit the fabulous cathedral shop and buy from their extensive range of online merchandising" said Marc Woodhead. The new eCommerce system will be up and running by May this year and the new event booking system will be launched in September.
