How to add a Quote block to the Page Editor

Quote blocks are useful for setting apart lengthy quoted material, making it easier for the website visitor to read and adding an extra aesthetic. The Quote block also gives you the option to insert multiple quotes that appear as a revolving carousel on the front-end.

1. Add from Page Blocks When you are in the Page Editor, click on the Add Page Blocks button, then under the Visual Blocks section in the pop-up, click on Quote Block and then Create. 2. Adding text to the Quote block Add the quote you wish to appear in the white box within the Quote block. Click Update and Preview to see how the quote appears on the front-end webpage. 3. Adding more than one quote You can also create a rotation of quotations by adding several separate quotes to a block. To do so, press enter on your keyboard under the first chunk of text and then type in the text for the next quote. 4. Adjusting the additional options Right-click on the frame of the Quote block to bring up the Options pop-up. From here you can add System Classes, for example "margin-all-10px" or "mobile-none" and move the block up and down. If you have added more than one quote to the block, bring up the Options pop up to configure settings for the quotes, such as the time it takes to fade from one quote to the next and whether the quote should pause on hover.
