How to add an Embed Code block to the Page Editor

An Embed Code is a block of HTML that can be added to your page to enable browser plugins or widgets. These are commonly used for videos or audio clips. The Embed Code block in the Page Editor allows the user to share content from external sources like YouTube or add snippets of extra HTML code, however they are not mobile responsive.

1. Add from Page Blocks When you are in the Page Editor, click on the Add Page Blocks button. Under the Gadget and Insert Blocks section, click on Embed Code and then Create. 2. Adding the Embed Code block The Embed Code block will then be added to the Page Editor; this is where you will paste your prepared code. 3. How to embed a YouTube video As an example, to upload a YouTube video clip, go to the video you want to embed on YouTube, click the share button near the description box and then click embed. 4. Example of an embedded YouTube video Copy all the code and paste into the Embed Code block in the Page Editor, click Update and your video will appear. Extra Tip The size of the video can also be changed within the code - adjust the numbers in between the 'width="500" height="297" and this will adjust the video accordingly.
